Fletcher Clinic
Our Fletcher branch is a renovated, custom-built veterinary practice, with state-of-the-art facilities to best provide for you and your pet. We have two spacious waiting areas, both indoor and outdoor for a relaxed and comfortable stay. There are three consultation rooms, two surgery suites, a pathology and diagnostic room, as well as multiple hospital wards. Take a video tour with us here.
Wallsend Village Clinic
Our Wallsend clinic is located in the convenient location of Wallsend Village shopping centre. It has a comfortable and modern waiting space, with two consultation rooms, surgery suite, pathology and treatment area. We stock beautiful and unique locally-made pet products here, complete with harnesses, leads, bedding and apparel for your pet. We also run our very popular Puppy Preschool program at our Wallsend branch.
The Fletcher Vet Story
Dr Paul Robin was born and raised in Newcastle and graduated from The University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 1993.
He started practicing as a vet and spent time working in the UK and Hong Kong before moving back to NSW in 1997. Paul started The Vet Maryland in 1998, transitioning to Fletcher Veterinary Practice in 2009 with a single vet nurse for support. The team grew, and in 2021, renovations transformed the clinic into a state-of-the-art facility. We have since opened a new Fletcher Vet branch in the neighbouring suburb of Wallsend, to accommodate our growing clientele and staff.

Veterinarian
Dr Paul is the practice owner and head vet at Fletcher Vet. Paul has been serving the local community for more than 20 years and has a great reputation for his care and passion in veterinary work. His particular interest is in orthopaedic surgery.
Jacqui
Veterinary Nurse & Puppy Trainer
Jacqui’s been part of our team since 2011 and she always has a smile for our clients. Outside work Jacqui’s busy with her two boys, four dogs, a cat, a duck and five horses. Jacqui is our Puppy Preschool trainer, passing on her knowledge to for new dog owners and their families.

Head Veterinary Nurse
A veterinary nurse for over 10 years, Hannah loves surgery nursing and has a strong interest in animal medicine. She has two rescue Greyhounds, Bindi and Slinky, a few fish friends and a Mussel called Courtney.

Veterinary Nurse
Hannah graduated veterinary nursing in 2022. She enjoys finding ways to help our patients through every stage of life , even in trauma and emergency cases. She has two Labradoodles named Bella and Ruby, and a Border Collie named Bonnie.
Alycia
Veterinary Nurse
Alycia graduated veterinary nursing in 2020. She loves providing high-end patient care, giving out treats and the science that happens behind the scenes. Alycia has two dogs, Princess and Diego, and two cats, Panda and Cheetoh.
Barb
Veterinary Nurse
Barb’s passionate about showing pet owners the importance of training their puppies well. Barb and her dogs have worked on film and TV sets. Currently Barb is owned by five Border Collies – Fern, Mink, Hunter, Luxe and Diva.
